The Galician pavilion receives its visitor number 500.000

A family of four members, native of Saragossa but currently living in Valencia was the visitor number 500.000 of the Galician Pavilion in Expo Zaragoza. They arrived around one past five in the afternoon and were welcomed by the deputy director of Tourism of the Galician Government, Pilar Morgade Saavedra. They were given a special present of the Pavilion (the same silver gift that was given to the Prince and Princess of Asturias during their visit of the 9th of July) and were awarded with a guided tour around the exhibition site.

Octavio Romé, the father, spent his childhood in Redondela (Pontevedra) and in A Coruña. He commented that, last year, “for the Golden Wedding of my parents, I gave them a trip to Galicia; it couldn’t be to anywhere else”. Octavio was accompanied by his spouse, Ana Cristina García and their sons Diego and Marcos.
